    • Can I change the access code to e-merch myself?

      Yes and no. You cannot change your user name but you can change your password at any time.

    • What exactly is e-merch?

      e-merch is a huge product data base with many thousands of products for the promotional products industry. The items are listed with all relevant details (incl. size, colour, price, picture, etc.). There are various search options in e-merch and with one mouse-click you can generate a professional offer for your customers. You save time and money and your customers will be thrilled!

    • What are the costs for an offer with e-merch?

      It depends how many offers you create per year - between € 0,50 and 2,00!

    • Is it possible to add text to the offer form?

      Of course. In all e-merch offers that are generated based on your specifications and ideas there are wildcards for additional text. You can for example add an introduction to address your customer personally or insert your personal text at the end of the offer. This enables you to keep your individuality and to modify the offer according to your requirements.

    • If most of my competitors use e-merch what is my advantage?

      You save 95 % of your time that you can use for other profitable sales activities in your company.

    • How many products are listed in the e-merch database?

      It is a goal of the e-merch team to gain as many manufacturers and importers as possible within the first year. That means we already provide appr. 45.000 products by the end of 2005. If you miss a certain supplier, manufacturer or importer please let us know. We will then do our best to win this supplier for e-merch. Send a mail to office@e-merch.at with the suppliers' details and we will contact him with regards to your recommendation.

    • How long do I have to commit myself to e-merch?

      It depends on the package you buy. e-merch offers various possibilites and packages. Please find out more under "Prices" for traders.

    • How can I buy e-merch?

      You can order e-merch either online (see the order form) or we arrange an appointment with you to demonstrate e-merch with all its' features. You will learn the current prices from our "Price list".

    • Do I need extensive training for e-merch?

      Not necessarily. On our home page you will find a guided tour which explains e-merch step by step. It should not take more than 30 minutes to go through it. The more often you use e-merch the more experienced you will be. Should you have any questions our team will be at your service either by email or by phone. In addition we offer personal trainings for you and your staff to bring the use of e-merch to perfection (please arrange an appointment). More information under "Price list for traders".

    • Can I modify my logo in the template I use for offers?

      Of course you can. You can create the template yourself and then load it into our e-merch system. At the same time you can modify your logo. But it is necessary to download your template again after the modification.

    • What is the advantage of e-merch?

      e-merch helps you to minimize the time you need for product search and offers - up to 95% and it also helps you to save a lot of money. Use e-merch's idea-generator und surprise your customers with quick and creative ideas.

    • How do I know if my products are actually found and used for offers?

      e-merch runs statistics that you can subscribe for your products. Here you can see how often your products were found and how often they were used for offers. So it is quite simple for you to do a cost-benefit analysis. More under Prices - suppliers.

    • How many products can I import?

      There is no limit for our suppliers! You pay per data import, no matter how many products your assortment consists of.

    • How many trader-subscribers should e-merch have to make it reasonable for me to join?

      We found out that every trader will generate an average of appr. 750 offers per year. It is our goal to have appr. 6.000 satisfied trade-customers until 2008.

    • How often can I import my data?

      e-merch offers a variety of possibilities! Whether you import your products and details once a year or you run additional sales promotions according to season and occasion e-merch has the fitting package for you.

    • Is it very time-consuming to compile my product data for e-merch?

      * If you have a merchandise information system it is mostly simple to export the data into an excel list. The more details per item you provide the more speficic your products are presented. We will send you a customized excel-form. The matching pictures should either have the same name as the item itself or should carry a number code to make allocation easy. Requested formats: .jpeg; .gif or .png. Please send us your data per email or save it on a CD-Rom and send it by mail. * If you do not use a merchandise information system but work with Excel or Access all you have to do is copy the data into our excel-list. Procedure for pictures see above. * If you do not use any of the above mentioned programs please fill in our excel-list with your data. In case a revision of your data is necessary we will charge € 0,60 per item.

    • Is there a certain ranking within the search results?

      The items are listed at random. e-merch does not favour a supplier-manufacturer-importer. You have indeed the possibility to place an ad on our website to particularly refer to your products. If you are interested plese refer to our "Price list" for banners.

    • What are my advantages when my products are listed in e-merch?

      e-merch uses your data only to fill the database! Besides that your products are linked to keywords in our idea-generator to make it easier to find them when searched by certain themes. Your suggestions are most welcome! There is no other use of your data!
